Welcome to the Electronic Home of the Blue Knights England VIII Chapter, located in the middle of England within the County of Leicestershire & Rutland. We are just one small chapter within a much wider family of Blue Knights. Blue Knights are officers both male and female who share a common interest in Motorcycling who like to help many Charities by raising money at our rallies and rides out such as our Christmas Toy Run and Easter Egg Run

March saw us hosting the Presidents UKIC meeting where much planning for the year was organised for all Chapters within the UK. The highlight in March was the Chapter Poppy Run to Belgium over the weekend 14-16. The event was well attended by our own members plus members from Eng II and XII coming along to join us. A great few days were spent riding around Belgium visiting Poperinge, Brugge and Ypres. The aim of the ride was to lay poppies at graves of Leicestershire Regiment soldiers. Sadly we found a graveyard fall of local lads who fell in WWI. This gave us time to reflect. We joined Ludo the President of Belgium IX and his Chapter for a superb ride around West Flanders, we rode along roads we would never have found ourselves. The Chapter set up our HQ at the Bikers Loft Hotel for their opening week-end party. A great time was had by all. I will be planning further trips into Belgium very soon.
The Chapter Easter Egg ride was completed on our return from Belgium on Good Friday 21 March 72 Easter Eggs were delivered to the Hinckley Salvation Army where they were put to good use with local homeless and domestic violence centres.
The plans for the Chapter Rally to Gibraltar are going well more on that one later…….
